100 Flowers: Osmanthus – Fun Fact

According to Chinese legend, on the moon there is a large osmanthus tree that is chopped continuously by the immortal Wu Gang, who was banished there. This lunar tree heals its wounds immediately, condemning Wu Gang to an eternity of chopping. Osmanthus is used in traditional Chinese medicine today to boost the immune system.
